I put Macey in the sink when i'm putting my make up on everyday...it's very helpful, she loves sitting in there!
Macey looks like such a big girl in this picture! It's so cute...she was a little over 10 months in this picture.

Matthew Visiting

It has been really hard having my brother all the way in Fairbanks so we appreciate the time we have with him when he visits. Me and Matthew home schooled together until my last two years and it really made us close. We were with each other pretty much 24/7. I love him more than anyone, besides Jake and Macey of course. He and I went through everything together, he got me through some really hard times and i did the same for him. He was truly my best friend growing up. Jake and I arent sure about where we will send our children to school or if we will home school but the relationship i have with my brother is one of the reasons i lean towards home schooling. I want my kids to have the relationship and memories me and Matthew share and most kids dont have that with their siblings let alone one of the opposite sex.

Paint

So i know im all over the place...im trying to post in chronological order but i had to post the shaving cream and scotch tape projects because they were fun i didnt want to wait to post them! but now im back to posting in order so we were at Macey at around 10 months then i skipped to Macey at 15 months now we are back to last September :)

Jean jacket

This is an adorable jean jacket Macey got from my Aunt Erica. This was when she was just learning to stand up on her own! It's so funny watching the serious concentrating look on her face!

A wall

This is a wall in Macey's room. I love it :) i want to remember it forever because i'm sure it will get changed often. I love her teeny tiny hand and feet prints...

Shaving cream project

This idea i also got off www.pintrest.com. Macey and Jesse thought it fun to play in it afterwords! I really like the finished product, i think i'll make some to wrap presents in sometime!
Put shaving cream on a pan and drop a few drops of food coloring on it.
Have them swirl it around in circles...

I let them play with it after we were all done, they loved that!
Macey loved it a little too much, she got Jesse good!
After they make swirls you take a piece of paper and squash it onto the shaving cream and food coloring and then let it dry on the paper for 30 min then scrape the shaving cream off! It looks really neat i think! Macey's looks a little too scrapped because i didn't wait long enough for hers to dry...so i guess that's important :)

Painting over scotch tape

Macey and Jesse LOVE to paint. As soon as i say the word they run to the table! This idea i got from the website www.pintrest.com, they turned out really good i think. All you do is write their name with scotch tape and paint all over the whole paper then after it's dry take the tape off!
Macey pretty much has to take a bath to get clean after painting!
Jesse seriously used his pointer finger for this entire project! It was hilarious, he doesn't usually do that and it took him forever but it was cute.
I think they would look better framed :)

Loving Aunt and Uncle

We love getting together with Jake's brother and his wife. We always have good food, good conversation and sometimes we even get to play a game :)
I'm so happy Macey gets to spend so much time with her Aunt and Uncle, most kids don't have that.
