Daddy's xbox controllers defiantly helped get her to crawl a couple months ago! she loves them

I've been loving to make bows for Macey's hair lately. They are super easy and really cheap! I made this one for her to wear with this adorable outfit.
Macey is getting such a personality! She's been babbling a lot lately, reading books carrying on conversations with other babies, singing...it's precious. This has got to be ONE of my favorite outfits, she has a lot of cute ones, but this one is so bright and cheerful! I think yellow makes her look happy :)
This idea was on another blog i follow. They have really neat crafts to do with children, and i've done a lot of them! I think this turned out really cute. Macey loved feeling the paint in her fingers. I haven't done very many crafts this summer because the little boy i watch only comes two days in the summertime so we don't have very much time to work on projects...especially since a lot of the days this summer have been beautiful out!! I can't believe how much Macey's hand has grown since last project we did..it's so sad how fast they grow up, but every day just gets funner and funner!
Even though we never have a weekend free, never have a birthday or holiday to ourselves; Jake and i are SO blessed to have both of our families so close! I'm so glad Macey will get to spend so much time with her grandparents and aunts and uncles! We love having family so close for many reasons....
What a big girl! I cant believe its been 8 months! Time goes by way too fast.
Macey was getting a little long for her co-sleeper, so we decided a few days before she turned 8 months that we would try putting her in her crib at night. We had been putting her in it for her naps but she still slept in our room at night. We were ready to have our room back! The transition went SO well! Neither of us could believe how easy it was! When she slept in her co-sleeper we had to wrap her up tight, just because she wouldn't go to sleep otherwise, but when we moved her into her own room i didn't want to do that for fear of her getting into a position she couldn't get out of and i was too far away to know! So we did our little bed time routine and put her in her new crib and she sat up and smile and laughed and was so excited to be in her new bed! After we rocked her for a while she calmed down and slept great!! And i wasn't as worried in the middle of the night as i thought i would be...Since then she's only slept with us one night when she was really sick. And it is SO nice to have our room back to just us.
