Trying

Macey is trying really hard to crawl, but she cant quite figure out how to move her legs....i'm fine with that :)

First moose!

Macey's first moose encounter!!! When we came home tonight there was a baby moose right by out front steps and the momma moose a few yards from our driveway! Needless to say we went in through the back door :)

Macey Elizabeth Collins, 6 months old!

I put her up in the crawling position and then she started playing with Holly doll again then got up on her hands and knees by herself! So the last picture is what she did by herself. Macey is growing so fast! We had a well baby check up yesterday and she is 16 lbs 15 oz and 27 inches long! I can't believe it's been 6 months with this baby doll! There are times when i think it's crazy she's only been in our life 6 months, i can't imagine life with out her. But then other times i think i still can't believe i even have a baby of my own! I still think of myself as being 17 haha! I'm so thankful all of my dreams have come true, i have married an amazing loving christian man and i have a wonderful daughter to call "my" own!

Story time with Daddy

Story time with Daddy is really just Macey eats the book while daddy makes the words up haha. I was in the kitchen cleaning up and Jake was reading a nursery rhymes book to Macey...since she usually just eats the book Jake couldn't see the words to the rhyme he was on so he just made it up. This is what he came up with:
Peter Peter Pumpkin eater had a wife and wouldn't beat her, she ran away cuz she felt too free and Peter said shoulda bent her 'or my knee...
I was cracking up! I had to write it for you so I can have it somewhere to always remember.

Macey has been sitting up really well, we don't usually put a pillow behind her anymore because she really doesn't fall over anymore! She has also been doing a great job sitting up, seeing a toy she wants, getting on all fours to reach it then sitting back down again! Pretty soon she will start crawling but I can defiantly wait for that! I know how much it changes your life! They are into EVERYTHING! So i'm really not looking forward to her crawling around! But i know it will come eventually...

My aunt Erica got Macey this jean jacket, it is a little big but it went so well with the dress she had to wear it! We just rolled up the sleeves. Macey's aunt Autumn got her this dress! It is SO cute i just love it! She wore this outfit to church yesterday :)

Macey loves to look out the window, she gets so excited! She just talks and talks!

Girlie Girl

I wanted to get a picture of Macey in this adorable outfit, but she wasn't really wanting to cooperate...She hates the camera! She has been looking like a little girl lately, not a baby anymore! I can't believe she's already 6 months old! ah! the time is going by way too fast.
