Our home

This is our home. For the moment at least...we love this house, it's cute, has beautiful lawn and back yard both nice size...there are many things we love about this house. BUT! there are many things that get on our nerves, like it's in a really scary neighborhood and we don't want to raise kids in it. The front and back yard are nice sized, but we'd like more land. it's old, like really old. the laminant flooring is freezing! the water preasure, well for example, if you want to take a shower you better have like an hour of time chalked out of your schedual because nothing comes out of the faucett! all the water in the entire house has to be turned off and then it still has sperts of nothing coming out, it is really dumb. oh and did i mention it's old! there are a few more little things about the house that bother us so we wouldn't want to live in it for the rest of our lives. but there's no way we'd be able to turn around and sell it in 5 years because Wasilla is growing so much no one wants this house now, why would they want it in 5 years when Wasilla is bigger and the home is older!? Therefore we looked into getting a new or newer home. We looked around for about 3 months looking at building a home, getting a bigger home but still old, getting a little home with a bunch of land that we could build on in the future, buying a new home...there were a million opions. we prayed and prayed and prayed about it. Finally for our price range we found something that both of us think is the best. We are building a home, well paying a contractor to build one for us! it will be bigger than the home we're living in now. still 3 bed rooms 1 bathroom but there will be a laundry room and a pantry and an entry and it will be bigger and brand new!! We are so excited! oh and it's on a whole acre of land! They are pouring the foundation today! I've gone by every day this week because they've done something new each day! It's amazing. they tell us they should be done in one month! So i got to start packing!.....
